Shakira. Her full name is Shakira Isabel mebarak ripoll. She is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and dancer. She was born on February 2 1977 in Barranquilla, Columbia. Her father's name was William mebarak chadid and mother's name was Nidia del Carmen ripoll Torrado, an artistically inclined child, she started writing poetry as a four year old, and also loved to dance from childhood.
