Amber Heard has had her fair share of ups and downs in the romance department.
Aside from ex-husband Johnny Depp – with whom she’s currently engaged in a nasty courtroom battle – the actress has navigated relationships with many high-profile figures ranging from billionaire Elon Musk to cinematographer Bianca Butti.
1 Tasya van Ree.
Heard – who came out at GLAAD’s 25th-anniversary event in 2010 – began dating photographer Tasya van Ree in 2008. The romance was so intense that Heard legally changed her last name to van Ree during their courtship.
In 2009, Heard was arrested for domestic violence against the photog after an altercation at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Years later, van Dee told Us Weekly that the incident was “misinterpreted.”
“Amber was wrongfully accused for an incident that was misinterpreted and over-sensationalized by two individuals in a power position,” Van Ree said in 2016. “I recount hints of misogynistic attitudes toward us which later appeared to be homophobic when they found out we were domestic partners and not just ‘friends.’ Charges were quickly dropped and she was released moments later.”
Despite making it through the arrest, the couple split in 2012, with Heard reinstating her birth name following the breakup.
2 Johnny Depp.
After meeting on the set of the 2009 film “Rum Diaries,” Heard and Johnny Depp began to spark dating rumors in 2011. The couple wed in 2015 on the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star’s private Caribbean island.
Their marriage was seemingly doomed from the start, with Depp allegedly joking that “now I can punch her” to his best man as they walked from the ceremony to the reception on his wedding day.
Depp has denied ever physically assaulting Heard, and has repeatedly accused the “Aquaman” actress of being violent herself.
Heard ultimately filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2016. The exes are currently embroiled in a defamation lawsuit brought forth by Depp against Heard for $50 million. The actor alleges that claims Heard made in a Washington Post op-ed seriously damaged his career, costing him in excess of $40 million in earnings.
3 Elon Musk.
Despite assertions of deceiving on Depp with Elon Musk while she was still a woman, Heard continues to insist that her correlation with the billionaire tycoon didn't starts until her fight for custody from the action star and Musk's relationship breakdown from then-wife Talulah Riley were both concluded in 2016.
After a day of Instagram sequences all, the combination split up in August 2017, although still not for long, as they reconnected in under months.
By February 2018, Musk and Heard divvied up for product. An official told Page Six at the time that Musk "made the decision to end things," and Heard concurred that the marriage must have run its course.
"The timing just wasn't right, but they still care about each other," the anonymous source described.

Three months after her divide from Musk, unconfirmed reports of Heard dating art historian Vito Schnabel started to spread.
Unfortunately, they separate within less over one year, undoubtedly thanks to "long distance," a spokesman told Us Weekly at the time.

Heard starting dating film maker Andy Muschietti in May 2019, but the spark in the baking dish courtship pretty much died out because of the final part of every year.
Not much that is understood about their short romantic comedy.

Heard came out publicly with Bianca Butti in January 2020 after becoming snatched in a boiled make-out conversation with the filmmaker in Palm Springs, Calif.
Distance did appear to just have died their destiny well as, as The Mirror summary that the bunch divide in December 2021 after spent "months apart." At the moment, Butti seemed to be functioning in Los Angeles while has been Heard shooting "Aquaman 2" in the UK.
